Situated on the shore of Belfast Lough, Royal Belfast Golf Club is one of only five golf courses in Ireland with Royal status.

The Harry Colt designed 18-hole parkland course is also home to the oldest golf club in Ireland.

At 6,309 yards Royal Belfast provides all levels of golfer with a true test of golfing skill in one of the loveliest settings in Ireland. With a constant requirement for accuracy rather than length, the numerous bunkers, and subtly sloped, impeccably fast greens ensure that posting a low score is a challenge. Facilities also include two putting greens and practice range. Accolades include winner of the IGTOA Parkland Golf Course of the Year and the Golfer’s Guide to Ireland Best Parkland Golf Course in Ulster.

Royal Belfast’s stunning Victorian Clubhouse, built in 1852, was awarded Clubhouse of the Year 2024 by the Golfer’s Guide to Ireland. Whilst still embodying our history and traditional values, the Clubhouse is a family focused, friendly and welcoming space, with modern locker rooms and several bar and dining options available.
