Wales will face reigning world champions South Africa at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Saturday 19th August.
The match has been scheduled to act as a warm-up for Rugby World Cup 2023, which gets underway in France the following month. Wales last faced the Springboks in a three-Test series in South Africa during the summer of 2022. Despite claiming a first-ever victory on South African soil, Wales fell to a 2-1 series defeat. Overall, Wales and South Africa have played each other on 40 occasions. The Springboks have won 32 matches, whilst Wales have won 7 matches. There has also been one drawn match between the two sides.
