A party of 5 to experience an exclusive behind the scenes tour of the firing of Edinburgh Castle’s world famous 1 O’clock Gun. Hosted by the Army’s District Gunner and the Army Benevolent Fund, guests will learn about the purpose and history of the gun’s firing, before sitting down to lunch. Having been brought through the watching crowds, guests will be sited just to the rear of the gun in advance of its firing, giving them unparalleled access to photos of an unforgettable experience.  Immediately after the gun’s firing guests will be invited to have photos with the District Gunner - with smoking cartridge case in hand - alongside the gun.
