On Sunday 8th August 2021, we will be holding an ex-players memorial game and fundraising event in memory of FC Halifax Town and Chorley FC legend James Dean. 

Deano played a huge part in the stories of both of these great clubs, and the response from players, coaches and fans to his untimely passing just goes to show exactly the regard in which he was held, not only as a player but as a person as well.

As part of this event, we are holding an online auction and prize draw to raise money to go into a trust fund for James' two young boys, who have been tragically left without a father at such a young age. There are some truly fantastic items which have been generously donated by people throughout the football world and the wider business community, all of which can be found on this page.

Please do what you can to raise as much money as possible in memory of a true non-league legend.
