Product Description

This is an excellent foray into the champagne making region as you visit the famous Veuve Clicquot museum and impressive chalk cellars, with a VIP tour and tasting and take a lesson in sabrage! Once settled in at your hotel in Reims, you are invited to the nearby exclusive tasting bar, owned by a local champagne house, to learn the unique art of sabrage first used by Napoleon’s Hussars. After your lesson, sit back and savour your perfectly opened bottle of champagne accompanied by a charcuterie platter before exploring this historic city, home to three UNESCO world heritage sites and its many restaurants. The next day, you will be chauffeur driven to Veuve Clicquot to take a journey through time, discovering the story of vintages with a full tour of the house, built over the historic crayères extracted by the Romans. After the tour you will be treated to two flutes of the Maison’s Champagnes each, the famous Yellow Label Champagne as well as a flute of the latest Veuve Clicquot vintage. Includes two nights stay in a Privilège room with breakfast each day at the modern and elegant 4* Hotel de la Paix in Reims with excellent facilities including spa, sauna, hammam, pool, gym and in-room wi-fi, perfectly located in the heart of Reims.

Available mid April to mid November 2022, Tuesday to Saturday, subject to availability. Based on two people sharing. All guests must be aged 18 or over. Includes return chauffeur transfers to Veuve Clicquot, excludes all other transfers and flights.
